Healthy Minds & Healthy Bodies

Task  Three: Part One

From our evaluation of personal and wider school lifestyle choices,  we should be able to identify some goals and develop a 'plan of action'. Discuss your goals and use Microsoft Word to format a document which will be quick reference for you in the future, reminding you of your goals, and helping you develop new ones. There's no limit to how many goals you set, but you should have at least two.

It's really important to involve the school community in what you've learned about health and well being. To get our ideas out there, we're going to develop some advertisements for our school website. These are aimed at helping the wider school community make healthy lifestyle choices. We will have an opportunity to edit the movies with Windows Movie Maker, so your advert can be as creative and imaginative as you like.

Work in groups of four to five students and use your plan of action to guide you in script writing. Look at the  goals you've set and ask yourself: How could I get someone else thinking about their lifestyle choices? What would make me listen to information about health and wellbeing? What is the most important information about health and wellbeing that the community should be aware of? These questions should get you thinking about ways to reach your community.

Add a post to the blog. Talk about the things you feel are most important about healthy lifestyles.
